For over 25 years TS Designs have been a specialist manufacturer of security doorsets for the utility sector. We have a loyal workforce, and our ethos is to offer stability and to retain the skills and dedication of our valued employees. We have our head office and final assembly site in High Wycombe.

Our products are all built to customer order and are hand assembled utilising an extensive range of high quality, high value and high complexity locking systems.

Due to expansion, the implementation of new machinery and an increasing workbook we are seeking to appointment a dedicated Factory Manager who will report directly into the Operations Director.

The role:

• Direct management of shop floor workforce
• Delivery of weekly production run to schedule
• Goods in/out
• Stock control
• Housekeeping
• Weekly machine checks and toolbox talks
• Work with technical department to create full work instructions
• Introduce/set up welding facility to increase production capacity

Requirements:

• Previous experience in a similar role within a sheet metal/fabrication environment.
• This is a hands-on role, and you will be expected to hit the ground running.
• Excellent communication, leadership and management skills.
• General engineering background.
• Problem solving.
• Highly organised with an attention to detail.

Benefits:

• Full training and support will be given.
• The salary range will be determined largely by experience and ability; however, it is anticipated to be
• circa £38k-£48k per annum.
• On-site parking will be provided.
• 25 days annual leave plus bank holidays.
